We are delighted to announce that Izzy Poles has joined News Images as a junior staff photographer, bringing her passion and expertise in sports photography to our dynamic team.

Izzy discovered her love for sports photography during her studies at university. She has a talent for capturing the thrilling moments of live sports—photographing, captioning, and editing images during games to provide clubs with striking action shots. Previously, she has worked with clubs in the English Football League (EFL), including Norwich City and Cambridge United, and regularly captures the excitement of teams in the Women’s Super League, contributing her work to various newspapers, magazines, and social media platforms.

 

In addition to football, Izzy showcases her versatility by photographing a wide range of sports, including Men’s and Women’s Premiership Rugby, County Cricket, and major tournaments like The Hundred. Her diverse experience highlights her ability to adapt to different sports environments while consistently producing high-quality imagery.

 

Izzy will be mentored by Mark Cosgrove, co-owner of News Images and a respected figure in the global sports and entertainment photography industry. Under his guidance, we are confident that Izzy will continue to develop her skills and make significant contributions to our team.
